QB Kordell Stewart
Pittsburgh Steelers
At a time when Pittsburgh’s ground game couldn’t get on track, Stewart proved
to be the difference in the Steelers’ win over the Titans. He completed 19-of-31
passes for 254 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also picked his way through the
Titans’ defense for a 48-yard TD run. |

LB William Thomas
Oakland Raiders
Thomas, who left the team last Friday after the unexpected death of his half-brother,
returned on Sunday and inspired his teammates in a 28-10 win over the Giants in New York.
Thomas finished with a team-high 11 tackles and a sack. |

PK Jason Elam
Denver Broncos
After being bothered by injuries for much of last year, Elam has resurfaced as a
consistent weapon for the Broncos. He connected on all four of his field-goal attempts
(from 24, 50, 46 and 28 yards out) in Denver’s 26-24 win over the Cowboys on
Thanksgiving. |
