Week 10

PFW Players of the Week

As published in print Nov. 19, 2001

Offense

WR Marty Booker
Chicago Bears

The Bears’ much-maligned downfield passing game took off vs. the Buccaneers, and Booker had a lot to do with it. Booker’s three TD catches covered 28, 44 and 66 yards, as the Bears held on for a 27-24 road win in Tampa Bay. He finished with seven receptions for 165 yards.

Defense

DB Anthony Henry
Cleveland Browns

The Browns picked off four Elvis Grbac passes in their big win at Baltimore, and Henry claimed three of them. Henry, the team’s nickel back, stepped in when starter Daylon McCutcheon went down with an injury in the third quarter. He broke up five passes in all.

Golden Toe

PK Rian Lindell
Seattle Seahawks

After struggling earlier this season, Lindell seems to be back in form. He nailed all three of his field-goal attempts (from 40, 38 and 51 yards out) in Seattle’s 23-20 win at Buffalo. The 51-yarder came with 3:12 left and provided a 10-point cushion.
