We asked our panel of NFL insiders to name the rookie receivers who have made the
greatest impact this year. All comments by NFL insiders were made anonymously.
1. Chris Chambers / Dolphins — "Acrobatic, big-play maker with great
speed and strength who gives the Dolphins a dimension they did not have before."
2. Rod Gardner / Redskins — "Too many drops for a player with his
hands and ability, but he still is the best the Redskins have and a threat."
3. Freddie Mitchell / Eagles — "Is starting to understand the West
Coast offense and could be the Eagles’ best receiver by year’s end. A player to
watch in the playoffs."
4. David Terrell / Bears — "Gets too sloppy with his routes and
attention to detail and is not a great practice player, but he could develop into a David
Boston-type player if he will pay the price."
5. Koren Robinson / Seahawks — "Rare ability but very immature and
inconsistent. He needs to grow up." |
