In an effort to help those who have to have their lineups in early this week, profootballweekly.com has paged the Fantasy Doctor away from his seminar to take care of his responsibilities a day early.

Chris: Who should I start between Terry Glenn or Travis Henry? I need to fill an offensive flex position, and these are my only choices. Thanks.

Fantasy Doctor: I would go with Glenn here, Chris. He returned from his suspension in good shape, stepped right in and had a nice fantasy day last week. He’s going up against a shaky Colts defense and an inexperienced secondary, and QB Tom Brady has been allowed to open things up a bit. Henry has yet to really hit his stride and is facing a Jaguars defense that has a couple of key ingredients returning from injury this week.

Bmeyer: My QBs are Brooks, Brunell and Plummer. I would LOVE to just run every week with Brooks, but he hasn't really shown me a reason why I should because of his inconsistency. On defense, should I go with the Bears or the Eagles? My league is primarily scoring only.

Fantasy Doctor: I still would stick with Brooks this week vs. Atlanta. Ricky Williams is running too well for defenses not to show the respect that will leave things open down the field for Brooks’ speedy receivers. Plummer is going up against a banged-up Chiefs secondary, but I still think his glaring inconsistencies don’t warrant a starting spot. Defensively, go with the Bears’ defense that has scored a touchdown in each of its last two games. The Bengals’ offense has turned the corner to some extent, but not that much.

HH: Dear Doc: This sounds like blasphemy (especially being a lifelong Vikings fan), but with our ability to use a "flex" lineup, should I start a guy like the A-Train over Moss? Moss stunk out loud when he was supposed to be healthy, so how much worse will he be versus the Packers when gimpy? My other choices are hurt or on a bye. Thanks for your time.

Fantasy Doctor: Don’t bench Randy. The ankle is a concern, but he’s still Randy Moss. Last time I checked, you don’t get fantasy points for blocking, so Randy is still OK. He’s one of those rare players capable of blowing up vs. a good defense. Watch, the one time you bench him is when he comes back to life with a three-TD day. In conclusion, don’t bench Randy.

Matthew: Hey, Fantasy Doctor! Enjoy the column. I own Warrick Dunn in a scoring and yardage league. At the tail end of last season, he put up some super numbers and seemed destined to finally come into his own as a featured back. Yes, you guessed it: I'm disappointed with his performance this season. My question to you: Do you think he can turn it around, or is it time for me to cut him? Thanks for your help.

Fantasy Doctor: Don’t you dare cut him. That would constitute a trip to a padded room in the big hospital on top of the hill. I agree, getting a read on the Buccaneers’ offense these days is about as hard as finding knee cartilage left in Mark Schlereth. However, it’s clear that Dunn is the man in Tampa. The coaching staff has a lot more confidence in him than Mike Alstott, and Dunn came back early and will play through pain. He’ll be fine and should be a starter because of his versatility.

Jason from Canada: Here's my problem. I have four serviceable RBs (A. Green, Pittman, Dayne and Dunn). I have Owens, Troy Brown, Warrick and Mason at WR. We play two RBs, two WRs and then either a RB or WR. I have been offered a trade: Keyshawn Johnson and Travis Henry for A. Green. Should I take it, or is this a better deal: Keyshawn Johnson and Travis Henry for Pittman and Mason.

Fantasy Doctor: Glad to see my Canadian fans writing despite the start of hockey season. You don’t want to give up Ahman Green. If you do, you’ll be pulling your hair out on a weekly basis over whom to start between Dayne, Pittman and Henry, and none of them are as good as Green. The second trade offer is much better because Keyshawn brings much more to the table than a Derrick Mason.

T.J.: Ok, I've been approached to trade Ricky Williams for Daunte Culpepper. Here's my roster.
Elvis Grbac and his bag of mixed donuts.
Eddie "I can't find my shoe" George
Ricky Williams
Marty Booker
Willie Jackson
Tony Gonzalez
Ryan Longwell
Chris Weinke
Correll Buckhalter
Stacey Mack - I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on Jason Brookins
James Jackson
Jerome Pathon
Ike Hilliard
Saints Defense
I could use Daunte, but Ricky is my only stud when it comes to the RBs. This guy just picked Shaun Alexander from me last week, so he might be able to give me Shaun and Daunte, and that could help with my running backs. If Eddie could get his shoes on right, it wouldn't hurt so much.

Fantasy Doctor: There are more problems in Tennessee right now than George’s shoes. I don’t think I would approve this trade because of Ricky Williams’ value. If you could get Alexander involved, perhaps. But one has to wonder what happens to Alexander when Ricky Watters comes back from injury in a few weeks. Mike Holmgren has said it’s Watters’ job. Keeping a running back like Williams and sticking it out with Grbac and Weinke is the more logical approach.

Michael: I'm in a 12-team combination league. Shrewd drafting and trading landed me Manning, James and Harrison. Considering their recent offensive struggles and the fact that they are playing the Pats (Week-Three debacle), should I consider benching any of them? My backups are Aaron Brooks, Priest Holmes, L. Coles and Antonio Freeman. Thanks for the advice.

Fantasy Doctor: No. And you’re welcome.
