St. Louis Rams
With an injury to QB Kurt Warner, Faulk took over in New Orleans, carrying 32 times for
220 yards and catching seven passes for 41 yards. His three total touchdowns helped break
the previous NFL mark of 25 TDs in a season. |

CB R.W. McQuarters
Chicago Bears
Other defenders may have had bigger numbers, but none made two bigger plays than
McQuarters in the Bears’ upset of the Lions. McQuarters returned a fourth-quarter
interception 61 yards for a touchdown and forced a fumble with a bone-crushing sack of
Stoney Case to help set the Bears up for the win. |

PK Paul Edinger
Chicago BearsEdinger hit all three of his FG attempts (from 37, 50 and 54
yards out) in the Bears’ 23-20 road victory. His 54-yarder with :02 remaining won it
and kept the Lions from advancing to the postseason. |
