San Francisco 49ers
Owens and Garcia were on the same page all day, torturing the Bears’ secondary
early and often in a 17-0 win. Owens finished with an NFL-record 20 receptions for 283
yards and a touchdown. |

DT Chad Eaton
New England Patriots
Eaton was a busy man in the snowy conditions in Buffalo, recording 12 tackles (all
solos), two sacks for 14 yards in losses and a forced fumble in the Patriots’ 13-10
overtime win. But perhaps his biggest contribution was the block of Bills PK Steve
Christie’s 30-yard FG attempt in the extra period, providing the Patriots an extra
opportunity to win. |

PK Ryan Longwell
Green Bay PackersGranted, Longwell didn’t have to deal with wintery
conditions in the Metrodome, but he did nail all four of his FG attempts (from 34, 35, 43
and 36 yards out) in a 33-28 win over the Vikings. |
