QB Trent Dilfer
Baltimore Ravens
Dilfer completed 23-of-36 passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in
rallying the Ravens to a 24-23 victory at Tennessee. He directed a nine-play, 70-yard
drive in the waning minutes of the game before finishing off the Titans with the
game-winning toss to Patrick Johnson with 25 seconds left. |

LB Keith Mitchell
New Orleans Saints
Mitchell came up big for the stellar Saints’ defense in a 20-10 win over Carolina.
He was in on five tackles, made one sack for a six-yard loss and recovered two fumbles,
one of which he returned 90 yards for a score. |

PK David Akers
Philadelphia EaglesA missed 38-yard FG attempt that hits the upright is all
but forgotten when you hit crucial ones later. Akers ended his day making 4-of-5 (from 26,
45, 42 and 42 yards out), including the game-tying field goal as time expired in
regulation and the game-winner in overtime in Philadelphia’s 26-23 win over
Pittsburgh. |
