Staley tore up the Cowboys' defense to the tune of 201 yards and a touchdown on 26
carries. He also caught four passes for 61 yards in the Eagles' dismantling of the Cowboys
in Dallas. |

Washington Redskins
In his new digs, Smith terrorized the lead-footed Steve Beuerlein all day, recording
two sacks, a forced fumble and plenty of time in the offensive backfield. Smith's forced
fumble changed the momentum in Washington's 20-17 victory over the Panthers. |

PK Morten Andersen
Atlanta Falcons
Andersen began his 19th NFL season with a bang, connecting on all five of his
field-goal attempts in a 36-28 win over San Francisco. Andersen hit from 43, 44, 24, 44
and 48 yards, and helped force the 49ers to start on average from their 19-yard line after
kickoffs. |
