Jimmy Smith
Jacksonville Jaguars
Smith had an outstanding game, hauling in nine passes for a career-high 220 yards in
Jacksonville’s win over the Saints. Smith also caught a 46-yard TD pass from Mark
Brunell and made several acrobatic grabs. |

Kevin Carter
St. Louis Rams
Carter filled almost every statistical category in St. Louis’ win over the 49ers.
He recorded two sacks for 19 yards in losses, had two passes defensed and forced and
recovered a fumble. Carter now leads the league with 11½ sacks. |

| Golden Toe |
Martin Gramatica
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gramatica nailed all four of his field-goal attempts in the Bucs’ win over
Atlanta. The rookie connected from 24, 26, 50 and 53 yards, the last of which won the
game. |
