Thanksgiving bonus:
Bears at Lions

OVERVIEW: The Bears are coming off a big overtime win over the Chargers. Chicago has played consecutive overtime games, losing to the Vikings in Week 10. The Lions lost to the Packers last week. It was the team’s first loss in four games vs. a division rival.

BEARS OUTLOOK: The Bears’ pass offense came up big for the second straight week behind QB Jim Miller, whose play should warrant another start. WR Marcus Robinson has emerged as a big-play threat who has put up some monster numbers. The Bears’ aggressive, blitzing defense will try to put pressure on the Lions’ offense, which ranked near the bottom in QB sack percentage allowed entering Week 11.

LIONS OUTLOOK: The Lions’ QB situation was up in the air at presstime. Charlie Batch (finger), who has been out, could replace Gus Frerotte, who has played well. WR Germane Crowell has at least 112 receiving yards and a TD in each of his last three games.

MATCHUPS TO WATCH: Each team’s receivers vs. the other’s secondary. Both pass defenses have given up big plays.

BY THE NUMBERS: The Lions have beaten the Bears five straight times in Detroit. The average margin of victory in those games is more than 20 points. … The Bears continue to play close games. Chicago has had 10 games decided by seven or fewer points.

KEY FANTASY MATCHUP: Robinson and Crowell, who have come from nowhere to become dominant fantasy performers, could excel vs. suspect secondaries.
