|
Steve Young
San Francisco 49ers
Young set an NFL record with his sixth straight 300-yard-plus passing
day. Young also had two TD passes and two TD runs, including one of 23 yards, to lead the
49ers to a come-from-behind victory over the Colts. |

Defense
|
Mark Carrier
Detroit Lions
Carrier intercepted two Brett Favre passes in Detroits 27-20
victory over the Packers. Carriers first interception set up a Lion touchdown that
tied the score at 10. He also had a fourth-quarter pick. The veteran safety added seven
tackles. |

Norm Johnson
