PFW Players of the Week
Week Two

Offense

Terrell Davis
Denver Broncos

Davis was dominating in Denver’s 42-23 win over Dallas. He rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries, averaging 8.3 yards per attempt. Davis’ first two scores covered 63 and 59 yards, respectively.

Defense

Rod Woodson
Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens signed the veteran Woodson to make plays, and that’s exactly what he did in Baltimore’s 24-10 win over the Jets. He intercepted two passes, returning one 60 yards for a touchdown, and tied for the team lead with 11 tackles.

Golden Toe

Doug Brien
New Orleans Saints

Brien came up big in the Saints’ 19-14 win over Carolina. After nailing a 46-yard field goal, Brien brought the Saints within one on a 56-yarder late in the third quarter.
