Week 10 power rankings

By Andy Hanacek, Associate editor and XFL analyst

  1. Los Angeles Xtreme (7-3, last week No. 1) — Great defense, phenomenal offense, solid kicking game … what else do you need?
  2. Chicago Enforcers (5-5, last week 3) — Surprised public relations department hasn’t taken up Blues Brothers’ "Mission from God" theme yet.
  3. Orlando Rage (8-2, last week 2) — When you count past ten, the Rage just melts away.
  4. San Francisco Demons (5-5, last week 4) — Went 1-3 and were outscored 88-48 in four games vs. playoff teams.
  5. New York/New Jersey Hitmen (4-6, last week 5) — See what happens when you just let Rusty coach? Nothing but good things.
  6. Memphis Maniax (5-5, last week 7) — It was the Tennessee Valley Authority that brought electricity to the area years ago, not the Maniax.
  7. Las Vegas Outlaws (4-6, last week 6) — Time to wager on which player gets in trouble in Sin City first, now that the whole football distraction thing is gone.
  8. Birmingham Bolts (2-8, last week 8) — Fans in southern Alabama are counting down the days to hurricane season. Maybe there will be more excitement in that.
