Week Seven power rankings

By Andy Hanacek, Associate editor and XFL analyst

  1. Los Angeles Xtreme (5-2, last week 2) — Look, they beat the best team, and they did it pretty easily.
  2. Orlando Rage (6-1, last week 1) — Losing Jeff Brohm for the stretch will hurt them, even with Brian Kuklick’s solid performance.
  3. Las Vegas Outlaws (4-3, last week 5) — Boy, that defense…
  4. New York/New Jersey Hitmen (3-4, last week 7) — Wally Richardson’s continued improvement should scare the opposition.
  5. San Francisco Demons (3-4, last week 3) — The real No. 1 defense didn’t look so great this week.
  6. Chicago Enforcers (2-5, last week 8) — Maybe I’m crazy here, but it’s called momentum, and the Enforcers seem to be building it.
  7. Memphis Maniax (3-4, last week 4) — We now see how big losing Rashaan Salaam really is. Jim Druckenmiller needs some help.
  8. Birmingham Bolts (2-5, last week 6) — Where, oh where will the Bolts play next season?
