Week Six power rankings

By Andy Hanacek, Associate editor and XFL analyst

  1. Orlando Rage (6-0, last week 1) —I wish these guys would lose one game, because I’m running out of things to say.
  2. Los Angeles Xtreme (4-2, last week 2) — Knocking on the door and can make a huge jump this week at home against the Rage.
  3. San Francisco Demons (3-3, last week 3) — They get style points for a reported attendance of more than 33,000.
  4. Memphis Maniax (3-3, last week 5) — The problem for the Maniax is that they don’t play the Enforcers’ secondary every week.
  5. Las Vegas Outlaws (3-3, last week 4) — Given its recent troubles, will the team continue to extend its "Name the defense" contest?
  6. Birmingham Bolts (2-4, last week 6) — Hey, Chris Marlowe of UPN thinks Weldon looks like Joe Montana with his helmet on too!
  7. New York/New Jersey Hitmen (2-4, last week 8) — Were my power rankings from last week on the Hitmen bulletin board?
  8. Chicago Enforcers (1-5, last week 7) — How many times in one broadcast can Jim Ross and Dick Butkus say the Enforcers have been snake-bitten?
