Playoff predictions

Hanacek forecasts the semfinal games

By Andy Hanacek, Associate editor and XFL analyst

Chicago Enforcers at Los Angeles Xtreme

I believe this game is truly the championship game. Looking at these two teams and how hot they’ve both been playing, I think the winner of this game will beat whomever they have to play, barring major injuries. This should be a war, just as it was in Week Two, when L.A. won in double overtime, 39-32. But I think the Xtreme is still a hair better. It’s tough to call this one, but I think L.A. takes it, in similar fashion to its Week Two win over the Enforcers.

San Francisco Demons at Orlando Rage

These two similar teams will battle in Orlando, where the Rage beat the Demons 26-14 in Week Two. Both teams have very solid passing games and just average running games. The defenses are pretty good, but I’m not sure the Demons’ defense is better than the Orlando offense, with or without Jeff Brohm. Orlando wins a shootout.
