Revised XFL predictions
By Andy Hanacek, Associate editor and XFL analyst
|
OK, so I warned you at the start of the season
that I would be changing these once I got a bead on who was good and who wasnt. So
here it goes.East
1. Orlando Rage How can anyone put these guys anywhere else in the standings?
2. Chicago Enforcers If John Avery stays healthy and the ball starts bouncing
their way, I truly believe theyll jump over Birmingham.
3. Birmingham Thunderbolts The Bolts have James Bostic at running back, who has
shown flashes but hasnt been consistent enough to carry the team.
4. New York/New Jersey Hitmen Aside from Wally Richardson, this team really has
no promising weapons.
West
1. San Francisco Demons Where did these guys come from? This team is in for a
dogfight with L.A. down to the wire.
2. Los Angeles Xtreme Tommy Maddox is getting dangerously comfortable with
taking a pounding and throwing touchdowns in the process.
3. Las Vegas Outlaws The defense has shown it is not infallible, and I have to
believe having a new quarterback every two weeks doesnt help matters on offense.
4. Memphis Maniax I guess having all those former first-round NFLers wont
help after all.
Championship game: Orlando 34, Los Angeles 28.
