XFL midseason awards

| Hey, it’s midseason already! I guess that
means I need to give out some awards here ... Most valuable player at the halfway point:
Orlando Rage QB Jeff Brohm. The catalyst of an undefeated record in Orlando.
Best coach: Las Vegas Outlaws head coach Jim Criner. What’s he on, his fifth
starting quarterback since training camp opened? I know it’s his third since the
start of the season.
Best announcer: Matt Vasgersian. I know that if we heard more of him, we’d be
very, very impressed.
Best color analyst: Bob Golic. He’s perfect for this league. He knows his stuff
and isn’t stiff and boring. He talks to you, knowledgeably.
Best cheerleaders: Las Vegas Outlaws. Sorry, I’m a sucker for those outlaw
uniforms.
Best thing about the league so far: The competitiveness of the games and the nostalgia
of seeing some of these players, who were great in college or were local heroes, get
another chance.
Worst thing about the league so far: Jesse Ventura, seriously.
