It's the offseason, which means that some of the NFL’s top stars have been crisscrossing the country in search of new homes.

Teams will have approximately $5 million more to spend on players this season, as the NFL Players Association announced that the salary cap will rise to between $62 million and $62.5 million for the 2000 season.

Pro Football Weekly has broken down the list of free agents by team and the type of free agent. We will cover all free-agent moves and other key roster changes with daily updates Monday through Friday, throughout the offseason.

Within each boldface category, player moves are listed chronologically, with the most recent move listed first. When we list the contracts terms for a free-agent signee, the abbreviation "SB" refers to signing bonus. Players who were cut by their 1999 club before signing with a new team are shown without a free-agent designation, although they are technically unrestricted "street" free agents.
