By Art Edelstein, Contributing writer

  • Heading into their game at Tennessee, the Giants have won straight up both games this season as a road dog.
  • The Titans are 0-3 vs. the spread this season.
  • Heading into the game at Carolina, the Cowboys have been bad at home but are 2-0 vs. the number on the road. Field position could play a big role. The Panthers rank near the bottom in net punting and the Cowboys are near the top.

  • The Jaguars have won and covered all five home games vs. the Steelers.
  • Pittsburgh is 2-9 vs. the number in their last 11 games.
  • The Bengals are 0-5 straight up and vs. the spread in their last five games. Cincinnati has only been in the red zone three times in three games, scoring one TD. PK Neil Rackers has missed all three field-goal attempts.
  • Heading into their game vs. the Browns, the Ravens have only allowed opponents to enter the red zone five times in four games.
  • Heading into their game in St. Louis, the Chargers appear to be in trouble. But, last season as an underdog in domes, San Diego was 3-0 vs. the spread and 2-1 straight up.
  • The Bears cannot stop making mistakes. Chicago has not won the turnover battle in its last six games and are tied for last in turnover differential (minus-8). The Bears have also been penalized an average of 30.75 more yards per game than their opponents.
