Redskins’ signing of Nolan Harrison
|
| Several
reports said Thursday that the Redskins had signed DL Nolan Harrison to a one-year deal. Washington
apparently expects Harrison, who previously played with the Raiders and Steelers, to
provide depth both at defensive end and defensive tackle.
Harrison was plagued by injuries in his last couple of seasons at Pittsburgh.
ProFootballWeekly.com asked contributing editor Joel Buchsbaum for his take on what
Harrison could bring to Washington.
Q: What is the scouting report on Harrison at this point?
Buchsbaum: Harrison is best used as a run-down player, which would fit the Redskins
very well because Bruce Smith is just going to be a pass rusher for them. |
