Brock Marion’s role with the Dolphins
|
| Dolphins S Brock Marion had
arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday, and doctors said he should be ready for the
start of training camp in July. Marion was Miami’s second-leading tackler last
season with 86 stops. He also had two interceptions.
Marion hurt himself during the team’s QB school this month. He had a cyst removed
from the same knee in April.
ProFootballWeekly.com asked contributing editor Joel Buchsbaum for his thoughts on
Marion.
Q: What’s Marion’s role with the Dolphins?
Buchsbaum: They want him to be the free safety who pulls everything together in the
secondary. But he’s been inconsistent thus far.
Q: What is the scouting report on him these days?
Buchsbaum: Tough, inconsistent player with limited speed and range. |
