Buccaneers' re-signing of Damien Robinson

| The Buccaneers have re-signed
restricted free-agent S Damien Robinson to a one-year contract. Robinson started 16
games at free safety and had 95 tackles and two interceptions last season.
ProFootballWeekly.com asked contributing editor Joel Buchsbaum to weigh in on the
subject.
Q: What is the word on Robinson?
Buchsbaum: Damien Robinson may be a starter in Tampa Bay, but they don’t want him
to be a starter. They feel they have to get better at that position. He was not a guy that
would have been wanted on the free market by many teams. … He has a speed limitation.
