What the Buccaneers will do with Keyshawn Johnson

Now that some time has passed and we’ve had time to get used to the idea of WR Keyshawn Johnson in a Buccaneers uniform, the time has come to project how the team will utilize his immense talent.

ProFootballWeekly.com asked contributing editor Joel Buchsbaum to weigh in on the subject.

Q: How does the arrival of Johnson impact the Buccaneers’ passing philosophy?

Buchsbaum: With Keyshawn in Tampa Bay, they’re not going to change their philosophy. They’ll still be a run-first team. The big problem is they still don’t have the type of quarterback they can do a lot of throwing with. They will throw more than they have in the past, but it will not be that appreciable an amount. They’re not going to become Air Coryell because they have Keyshawn, though I’m sure Keyshawn would like it.
