Ravens' Boulware will have a huge season

| Opinion Man takes a look at linebackers:  Chargers LB Junior
Seau is always worth the price of admission.
While
it’s true that Dolphins MLB Zach Thomas greatly benefits from having two jumbo
defensive tackles doing the dirty work for him, I still can’t help being in awe of
what he has accomplished because of his savvy and desire.
I think people
have underrated how good a player the Titans got in LB Randall Godfrey.
Jump on the
bandwagon now of Eagles LB Jeremiah Trotter. He’s a top-notch performer who hasn't
received enough hype.
Hardy
Nickerson isn’t what he once was, but I think he was an excellent addition for a
Jacksonville team that is very close to getting over the top. I think his savvy and
leadership will help the Jaguars greatly.
I think Colts
LB Rob Morris is going to have a big rookie season. Another rookie linebacker I like a lot
is the Buccaneers’ Nate Webster.
It’s a
shame that Jaguars LB Kevin Hardy isn’t a bigger star. He does everything well. He
doesn’t get the credit he deserves, though, because he doesn’t make the flashy
plays that make the highlight shows.
Ravens LB
Peter Boulware is going to have a monster season. It’s amazing what he did last
season while injured.
I think that
Bengals LB Takeo Spikes and Saints LB Mark Fields are about to step up their play big
time.
I’m
starting to think Broncos LB Bill Romanowski will never show signs of getting old on the
field.
