I’m sorry

| Dearest Rams fan — (No, not
you. You just bought your Rams T-shirt four weeks ago. Bandwagon fans annoy me. This
letter is to the folks who met the moving vans at team headquarters five years ago and
shelled out for the PSLs.)
I would like to offer my heartiest and most sincere apologies for not believing in your
beloved Rams this season. I feel the responsibility to admit that I was wrong. I never in
my wildest dreams imagined that this St. Louis squad would win the Super Bowl this season.
I should have known by the way the Rams were destroying teams that they were a
legitimate squad, that they were the best the NFL had to offer in this season of parity.
For not recognizing their ability, I’m sorry.
I hope that my lack of belief in the Rams did not offend you, that the fact that I kept
picking against them did not anger you. Please know that I was only expressing my
viewpoint (erroneous, as it turns out) and not harboring any ill will toward the talented
St. Louis team.
I also ask that you not hold my ignorance against the rest of the good people here at
profootballweekly.com. My errors in judgment are mine and mine alone.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize.
