Trends, Tips and Timely Stats Week 15

- The Cowboys keep riding high at home, where have won all six games this season by at
least 10 points. The Jets, who travel to Dallas this week, have pulled the upset three of
the last four times they were listed as an underdog.
- The Buccaneers have won and covered in their last six games. They travel to Oakland this
week.
- Heading into their game at Miami, the Chargers have covered the spread in three
straight, while the Dolphins have lost three straight both straight up and against the
spread.
- The Saints have lost each of their last four by at least 16 points. The Ravens have won
two straight, scoring a total of 72 points to knock off Tennessee and Pittsburgh.
- The Giants have won their last two (they were underdogs in both games). They travel to
face a Rams team that has won each of its home games by at least 17 points.
- Heading into their game in Indianapolis, the Redskins have lost their last three road
games both straight up and against the spread.
- Heading into their game in Tennessee, the Falcons have failed to cover each of their
last three road games.
- The 49ers, who visit Carolina Saturday, have lost each of their last four road games by
at least 14 points.
- Panthers WR Patrick Jeffers, who has been red hot (4 TD catches in the last three
games), had two TD catches San Francisco in Week Six.
- The Steelers have lost their last five both straight up and against the spread. They
visit the Chiefs, who have won and covered each of their last three.
- The Vikings have not covered in any of their last four games, while the Packers have
covered three of their last four on the road.
- Packers RB Dorsey Levens was held to 49 yards on 18 carries against the Vikings in Week
Three, when he was healthy.
- Heading into their game at Philadelphia, the Patriots have won all three meetings
against NFC East teams this season and covered the spread in two of those games.
- The Bears and Lions are both struggling on the ground. Detroit has been held to 42 or
fewer rushing yards in four of its last six games. Chicago has gained 91 rushing yards or
fewer in six of its last seven games.
