Trends, Tips and Timely Stats — Week 14

- Heading into their game at the Jets this week, the Dolphins have lost their lost two
road games by a combined score of 43-3.
- The Eagles have won only one of their last 23 regular-season road games. This week they
visit Dallas, where the Cowboys are 5-0 this season, winning by at least 14 points in each
of those games.
- The Patriots have not covered their last five games vs. AFC East opponents. They travel
to Indianapolis this week.
- The Lions have won and covered the spread four straight regular-season games against the
Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has won and covered in each of its last five games.
- The Saints are 1-8-1 vs. the spread in their last 10 games. Their opponent this week,
St. Louis, has covered in four straight. For the season, the Rams are 10-2 vs. the spread.
- The Bengals, who carry a two-game winning streak into a home game vs. the Browns this
week, have not won three straight since winning their last three games in 1997.
- Entering their Monday-night game against the Broncos, the Jaguars have given up more
than seven points once in their last four home games.
