Matchups to exploit

Bills WR Eric Moulds has caught a TD pass in four of his last five games vs. the Dolphins.

Panthers QB Steve Beuerlein has thrown six TD passes in his last three games vs. the Rams.

Packers WR Bill Schroeder has caught three TD passes in his last two games vs. the Bears.

Bengals RB Corey Dillon has an excellent matchup vs. a Cardinals defense that has allowed an average of 148.8 rushing yards per game.

Matchups to avoid

Broncos RB Mike Anderson will face a stiff test vs. a Saints defense that has held all but three of its opponents to fewer than 100 yards rushing.

Cowboys RB Emmitt Smith could have problems vs. a Buccaneers defense that has held four of its last five opponents to fewer than 100 yards rushing. Last week the Bills gained 139 yards rushing vs. Tampa Bay, but 62 came from running backs, 30 from quarterbacks and 47 from wide receivers.

Giants RBs Ron Dayne and Tiki Barber may find little room to run vs. a Redskins defense that has held seven of its last nine opponents below 100 yards rushing. Last week the Eagles gained 171 yards rushing, but 125 came from QB Donovan McNabb.

By getting out to big leads in recent weeks, the Raiders have shut down opposing running games, a fate that could lead to a slow week for Steelers RB Jerome Bettis. In 40-point performances vs. the Chiefs and Falcons, Oakland surrendered only 70 yards rushing combined.
