Matchups to exploit or avoid

Matchups to exploit

Buccaneers FB Mike Alstott scored three touchdowns in two games vs. the Packers last season.

Raiders WR Tim Brown caught two TD passes vs. the Broncos in Week Three this season.

Dolphins WRs Oronde Gadsden and Leslie Shepherd could do some damage vs. the Chargers, who have surrendered 21 TD passes in nine games.

The Jaguars could stay on track vs. a Seahawks team that has allowed at least 24 points to five of its last six opponents.

Matchups to avoid

Panthers RB Tshimanga Biakabutuka gained only five yards on 10 carries vs. the Saints in Week Seven. As a team Carolina gained only 10 rushing yards.

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb will likely struggle vs. a Steelers defense that has allowed six touchdowns all season and none in five straight games.

Ravens QB Trent Dilfer doesn’t figure to continue his newfound magic vs. a Titans defense that has held all but one of its opponents this season to 20 points or fewer.

This may not be the week Browns WR Kevin Johnson breaks his scoreless slump, considering he’ll likely see a lot of Patriots CB Ty Law, one of the best in the business.
