Tampa Bays run defense ranks third in the league, but
Oiler RB Eddie George is way too hot to sit down. George has four consecutive 100-yard
games and five in his last six contests. The most recent was the most impressive: 153
yards and a touchdown at Pittsburgh. |

Stay away from all Eagle running backs this week. Besides
the fact that the Philadelphia offense is really out of sorts, the Eagles face the Lions,
whose defense ranks sixth in the league in rushing yards allowed per game and in average
gain allowed per attempt. |
 |
Be sure to start Bear RB Curtis Enis this week. Not only is
Enis getting his first start, which should ensure him twice as many carries as Edgar
Bennett, but Enis will go against a Ram run defense that ranks 23rd in the
league after giving up 199 yards to the Falcons last week. |
 |
Even though his receiving corps is still banged up, you
should still start Patriot QB Drew Bledsoe this week. The Falcons rank 29th in
the league in passing yards allowed and have given up 14 TD passes in eight games. |
 |
Jacksonvilles pass defense has been surprisingly leaky
this season, ranking 28th in yards allowed per game and 25th in
average gain allowed per pass. So be sure to start Bengal QB Neil ODonnell and WR
Carl Pickens this week. |
 |
Its probably best to shy away from Raven running backs
this week. Baltimores backfield is again in a state of flux (FB Roosevelt Potts led
the team in carries last week), and the Raiders have allowed only three rushing touchdowns
all season. |
