NFL draft 2000

Joel Buchsbaum's mock draft

By Joel Buchsbaum, Contributing editor
As of Friday, April 14

What follows is Joel Buchsbaum’s latest mock draft. It reflects Thursday’s trade between the Jets and 49ers in which New York received the 12th overall pick in exchange for the 16th overall pick and a second-round selection.

Latest rumblings — The Jets, Packers and Raiders have all expressed interest in dealing up to the fifth overall selection. If DT Corey Simon is off the board, look for the Eagles to deal out of the sixth pick. If RB Shaun Alexander is available, the Chiefs will trade the 21st pick to Cincinnati for RB Corey Dillon.
